Karen Cohen has 30 years of continuous learning experiences in personal transformation and academia. Starting in the creative and retail arena moving into coaching, counselling, facilitation and training.

PROFESSIONAL BIO
I am trained in Clinical Psychology ,Psychology for Professional Purposes (cognition), Text Analysis, Teaching and NLP. I approach my work using NLP and Cybernetics, focusing on systems and communication. The model is one I created during my Master studies in South Africa and Germany, which deals with faulty human systems, miscommunication and expression of self. My work has evolved through hospitals (working with cancer patients, stress in neo natal wards and staff, specifically ward
managers), dual diagnosis facilities, training of volunteers in humanitarian work and operations management of large sporting events.
I have just returned from 3 months in Greece and Sweden with a short research time in Belgium. In Greece, I worked with humanitarian groups that are facilitating basic needs and education of refugees and the Roma Gypsies. This involved observation of the programs and systems, interviews (formal and informal) of staff and those using the services, and the managements of the projects. This resulted in training of staff and volunteers (both in NLP and skills) and final reports for the leadership and management focusing on operational and staff issues including potential solutions to what had been observed. In Sweden, I spent 3 weeks with a local politician and students, with major discourse on systems (political and humanitarian), global warming and change mindset and management.
My work ethic is excellence and model of operations is always centred around helping each individual to understand themselves, their communication and behaviour, so that the team and system can function better as a whole though better recognition of their role within the team and system.

Linda Remke has over 24 years’ experience of leadership in the advertising, marketing and communications industry and have owned and co-owned numerous businesses namely; EVEOLVE®, VALUENEURS™, Logogistics, EVEOLOGY Network, CDS Advertising & Events and Vans Office Supplies.
During this tenure, she had worked with large organisations such as the Shoprite Group of Companies managing their internal OD programme servicing over 1100 branches nationally. Our target audience was over 80 000 employees.
Today as a Master Practitioner Coach, she has served over a hundred visionary leaders in Start-ups, SMME’s and medium sized businesses as well as large organisations and government.
Helping individuals, leaders and teams to understand, accept and assert themselves appropriately holistically, is core to her interventions. She achieves this by using their Valued-based EQ Trust model and framework. This methodology accelerates self-awareness and self-management, which translates directly to productivity and outcomes-based results, through personal accountability within the workplace and life in general.

PROFESSIONAL BIO
Claudio’s intrinsic values have influenced his belief in making a difference for the common good, by helping others to adopt a mindset of resilience, and engendering a culture which embraces leadership, as he believes everyone can be a leader. Claudio is a firm believer that nothing is instant, only instant coffee, results take time. The important thing is to progress, creating non-intimidating micro-goals on a daily basis.

The key is knowing what you want and taking consistent daily action. If you improve only 1% per day, after a year that would be 365% improvement (without even taking the compounding effect into account!).

Whilst working at Investec, Claudio was one of the official mentors for the Investec-sponsored TV Show “School of Hard Knocks”, which uses rugby to help troubled youth to rehabilitate themselves by instilling self-discipline and providing life goals. The positive change that Claudio was able to bring about in this series influenced him to further develop himself as a master coach.

He currently serves on the CoMenSA (Coaches & Mentors of South Africa) Executive Committee (Exco) Western Cape Chapter and the Social & Ethics Committee.
